LIMENIALZ is a fast, punchy top-down arena survivor. 
You're a Limzy, a creature pulled into a corrupted dream world, and something in here wants you gone.

Ten waves. Slash, shoot, and charge your energy until you can let the super loose and wipe the screen. Enemies crawl out of the dark as silhouettes and glitch apart when you break them.
Grab orbs to power up, snatch health to stay standing, and hunt down the last stragglers to clear the wave.

⚠️ Early alpha. This is being built in the open. It's rough, unfinished, and it'll keep changing and evolving. So any feedback to improve the mechanics are more than welcome!

How this started

Limenialz began as a way to learn Godot. Nothing serious, just messing around and having fun. But the more I worked on it, the more it grew on me, and now I actually want to see how far I can take it, both the game and the world it belongs to.

Where it's headed

A lot of what you see right now is temporary, and there's plenty I want to build out:

• More 2D FX and animation for shooting and melee
• Proper enemy animation: walk cycles, attacks, death
• A reworked HUD and cleaner UI
• Real sound design and music
• The ability to switch between different Limzies, each with their own abilities

This is a passion project I'm growing over time.

Part of something bigger. Limenialz is one piece of a bigger world called Beyond Liminal. In that world, Limenialz is an arcade machine the characters play.
